Karina Chechik è, fra i tanti artisti che conosco e frequento, quella che negli ultimi tempi ha assunto davvero il ruolo di "artista riconosciuto a livello internazionale". Le mostre nei Musei, la partecipazioni alle grandi Fiere, le quotazioni stimate da Sotheby's, i collezionisti in ogni parte del globo fanno di lei una realtà importante del mercato dell'arte contemporanea.

• We are delighted, after much anticipation and deliberation, to announce the shortlist for the Young Masters Art Prize 2012.The 26 shortlisted artists come from all over the world and work across a wide variety of media.  Each artist has been chosen for their individual style, technical skill and potential.  We would like to thank the judges for all their hard work in compiling this dynamic and exciting list of artists.
